1. Mulch - I found @strulchmulch works best for me.
2. Pellets - I like the organic slug and snail iron pellets that you can find at any garden centre.

That’s it. No fancy hacks, no midnight torch patrols (who has time for this!?). Just proper organic mulch to protect your soil, and slug pellets (the right kind!) to finish the job.
