I’m the girl who stares at plants, usually found in the middle of a flower bed picturing what it could become. I’ve spent nearly 20 years gardening, learning, and growing, and I’m a fully insured garden consultant here in Essex.

A consultation
The perfect place to begin. We talk through your garden together, and you come away with clear, expert direction and a plan of attack you can act on straight away. Choose how you’d like to meet.
Virtual Garden Consultation
A 60-minute video call. Send me some photos, a rough sketch, and a few measurements beforehand, and we’ll talk through your garden live: the problems, the possibilities, and a plan of attack. You’ll get a short written summary of my recommendations afterwards. Distance is no barrier.

I’ll spend 90 minutes with you in your garden. We’ll wander the space together and talk through what’s working, what isn’t, and what you’d love it to become. A few days later you’ll get a written summary with my key recommendations, planting ideas suited to your soil and light, and clear next steps you can do yourself or hand to a landscaper. Perfect if you want expert direction without committing to a full design.

Ready to make changes and want to see the vision first? A concept turns ideas into something you can picture, with planting and layout brought to life on paper. Choose the scale that suits you.
Online Planting Plan
For a single border, bed, or pot scheme that’s not quite working. From your photos, measurements, soil, and aspect, I’ll design a planting plan with a full plant list, quantities, positions, and a simple planting diagram, sent as a PDF, with a 15-minute call to talk it through. Great for keen gardeners who’ll happily do the planting themselves but want the choices made by someone who’s stared at a lot of plants.
Consultation + Concept Plan
Everything in the consultation visit, plus a hand-drawn concept sketch of your whole garden showing the layout, planting areas, and key features I’d suggest. You’ll also get a curated plant list with quantities and a phasing plan, so you can spread the work, and the cost, over time. Ideal if you’re ready to make changes but want to see the bigger picture first.
A full design
The complete vision for your whole garden, with a detailed design and planting scheme to bring it to life. Work with me remotely, or have me on site for the full treatment.
Online Design Package
A full concept design, done remotely. You’ll get a video consultation, a layout concept plan, planting plans with full lists, and a mood board, all built from a detailed brief and your photos and measurements. Two rounds of changes included. A proper design service for gardens outside my visiting patch.
Garden Concept & Planting Design
My signature service. A beautiful, considered vision for your whole garden, drawn from nearly 20 years of staring at plants. Includes the consultation, a measured site assessment, a scaled concept layout, detailed planting plans with full plant lists, and a mood board, plus two rounds of changes. You’ll finish with a rich design document and planting scheme to bring your garden to life. For structural building work, I’ll happily work alongside your landscaper or builder, who handles the construction detail and setting-out. From £1,500 for smaller gardens; larger or more involved spaces quoted once I’ve seen them.

Good to know. Every concept and design package includes two rounds of changes as standard, so we get it just right together. And if you book a consultation then upgrade to a concept or design within 30 days, I’ll knock the full consultation fee off the price, so it’s never money down the drain.
In-person visits cover gardens within about 15 miles of Colchester. A bit further? Just ask. It’s usually fine with a small travel charge, or we can work together online instead.
I’m fully insured for both public liability and professional indemnity, so you can relax knowing you’re in safe hands.
